Hate RIM’s deliberate limitations on BlackBerry

User: Is there a way to record calls while you are talking?

RIM: No.

User: AS fancy and smart as our smart phones are, you can’t record while in a conversation!? Now that is cheap :(

 
RIM: it’s technically very easy. In fact RIM developpers did the opposite : the feature was available and they blocked it on purpose…..

User: WTF x(

Jim Balsilie, unul dintre cei doi directori executivi ai companiei canadiene Research in Motion (RIM), a declarat că în următoarele luni compania va lansa pe piaţă şapte smartphone-uri BlackBerry care vor utiliza următoarea generaţie a sistemului de operare BlackBerry.

Până la apariţia iPhone şi Android, sistemul de operare BlackBerry OS a avut un avantaj considerabil în piaţa mondială de smartphone-uri. Analiştii estimează că în trei ani de zile BlackBerry va fi depăşit de Google Android, Windows Phone 7 şi Apple iOS.
